Drumheller Library


The Drumheller Public Library, created in 1922, reaches around the world with free Interlibrary Loans, through membership in the Marigold Library System and The Alberta Library. Members’ cards are accepted at 285 libraries in Alberta. We have +35,000 items in-house: books, DVDs, CDs, MP3s, videos, magazines, newspapers, microfilms of area newspapers from 1914, maps, puzzles, and local information. Programs for all ages occur year-round. We have public-use computers, wireless access, a Merlin Reader for low vision users, and a special computer station for physically & learning-challenged users. The computerized Polaris TRAC catalogue accesses about 158 libraries in our consortium.
