The Town of Drumheller has developed a Municipal Sustainability Plan which was adopted at the Town Council Meeting on September 27th meeting.
The Municipal Sustainability Plan is a high level document that will guide our community to the future. The plan addresses the five dimension of a sustainable community including environment, economy, society, culture and governance. This type of document will serve as a strategic business plan for the community and identifies short, medium and long term actions for implementation.
The Municipal Development Plan was developed through a Citizens Advisory Committee from the Drumheller Area. The committee consisted of public at large, service clubs, political interests and administration.
