Town of Drumheller repairing and improving Highway 9 Median

The Infrastructure team at the Town of Drumheller is streetscaping two medians on Highway 9 south.  A stamped and coloured concrete design is being used which will improve the look of these medians. “As the first entry to Drumheller for many people it is important that this area is well maintained and looks good.” explained Daryl Drohomerski Director of Infrastructure. “We will also be installing planters on the median, most likely in the spring. Alberta Transportation uses these medians for snow storage so it makes sense to install a hard surface instead of grasses and plantings.”

One section requires some curb and gutter repairs and so that has been left this year and is planned for 2017.
