Drumheller's biannual Sports, Recreation & Arts Expo was packed with excitement as over 40 community groups offered-up an incredible array of community programming on Wednesday, March 7, making the first official function of the Badlands Community Facility a tremendous success.
It is estimated that over 1,500 people attended the event - driving partly by an enormous level of public interest in seeing the Badlands Community Facility first hand.
Heather Little, event organizer for the Town of Drumheller said "we had a huge number of very impressed people coming through this event, one attendee actually said they had no idea that Drumheller had so much to offer. Every show keeps getting bigger and better."
This is a FREE event sponsored by the Town of Drumheller, the Badlands Community Facility, Carol Todor dance school, Newcastle Country Inn, Drumheller Minor Baseball Association and Drum FM.
The next Community Expo will be held in September, Organizations interested in participating in the Sports, Recreation and Arts Expo may register by filling out the form in the Exhibitor Package linked above or by calling Heather at the Town of Drumheller at 823-1333.
