The Town of Drumheller is accepting applications for Municipal Election Workers.

In order to ensure a smooth and efficient municipal election, approximately 50 election workers will be required for Election Day – October 16, 2017.

Applications are open to all those interested who are:

     • Eligible to work in Canada

     • 18 years of age or older

     • Not directly related to a candidate

     • Available to work extended hours on ELECTION DAY, Monday, October 16, 2017.         

       (Approximate hours are 9 a.m. to 10 p.m.  or until the votes have been counted) and,

     • Available for an approximate 3-hour training session.

Applicants are responsible for their own transportation to and from the voting stations.

Required training will be provided.

     • Contact Information

     • Indicate if you have previous experience working an election

              o If yes, municipal, provincial, federal

              o Have you previously been a Town of Drumheller election worker?

     • Any restriction regarding location of voting station assignment

     • Other relative experience (record/cash balancing, customer service)
