Heritage Inventory Project


The Town of Drumheller, in partnership with the Drumheller District Chamber of Commerce and Community Futures Big Country, is moving forward with the initial stages of the community’s Heritage Inventory Project.

If you (or someone you know) is excited about our history and would like to contribute to this project, please complete a volunteer application A heritage inventory is a detailed historical assessment of key properties in our community and is generally understood as the first step to preserving and protecting our built heritage.

The Drumheller Heritage Steering Committee will act as a resource for the Inventory and together with our heritage consultant, (as selected following an open request for proposals) we will examine such places of interest – as determined by the committee. The committee seeks to promote the long term strategies about the value and importance of heritage planning and preservation in Drumheller.
