Town of Drumheller FCSS Senior Services is coordinating a VOLUNTEER INCOME TAX PROGRAM for seniors and low income individuals for the upcoming 2017 tax season. Services will be available to individuals and seniors with low income and simple tax situations. Participants must meet the specified income thresholds of $30,000 for single and $40,000 for couples.
If you need assistance completing your tax return, our trained volunteer, Bill Wulff is available to help. Free clinics will be held at the Drumheller Public Library by appointment only on the following Mondays, March 12th, 19th and 26th, as well as April 9th, 16th and 23rd from 9:00 am to 4:30 pm. Please contact Rose Poulson with Senior Services at 403-823-1317 to make an appointment to have your taxes completed on these days.
Free drop in clinics are also available for seniors residing at Sunshine Lodge on Saturday, March 17th and at Manor One on Saturday, March 24th starting at 9:00 am.
